Terms of Use
Pup AI is a private dog-health journal and research companion. We use data only to operate the features you choose, protect the service, support purchases, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal data.
These terms govern your use of Pup AI, operated by AKRO-in. d.o.o. By downloading, accessing, or using Pup AI, you agree to these terms and Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If they conflict, the Apple terms control where required.
Pup AI is a tracking and research tool
Pup AI helps you organize information you enter about a dog, including supplements, hormones, peptides, routines, observations, weight, and research notes. It does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, select a product, establish safety, or recommend a dose or route.
Pup AI is not veterinary advice. Content, calculations, search results, and AI-generated responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your dog. Always consult a licensed veterinarian before starting, stopping, changing, or administering any product or treatment. In an emergency, contact a veterinarian or emergency animal hospital immediately.
Your information and responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter, protecting access to your device and account, and verifying any product label, formulation, unit, route, and calculation with an appropriate professional. Do not rely on a catalog image, example, or assistant response as evidence that a product is appropriate or injectable.
You may use Pup AI only lawfully. Do not attempt to bypass limits, interfere with the service, upload unlawful or harmful material, impersonate another person, reverse engineer protected service components except where law permits, or use the assistant to seek instructions that could harm an animal or person.
Accounts
You may begin with a temporary account and later use Apple or Google sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining control of the sign-in account. You can remove journal data or delete your Pup AI account in Profile. Deleting a Pup AI account does not cancel an Apple subscription; subscriptions must be managed through Apple.
Subscriptions, offers, and billing
Paid access is billed through the Apple App Store. The price, billing period, trial or promotional terms, and renewal details shown by Apple at purchase are controlling. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through Apple at least 24 hours before the current period ends, subject to Apple's rules. Refund requests are handled by Apple. Restore Purchases and subscription support may be provided through RevenueCat, but Apple remains the payment processor.
Research assistant
The assistant may use automated models and web search. Responses can be wrong, outdated, or based on limited human, laboratory, other-species, or anecdotal evidence. Citations do not make a claim safe or applicable to dogs. You must independently review sources and consult a veterinarian.
Intellectual property and feedback
Pup AI, its design, software, artwork, and branding belong to AKRO-in or its licensors. These terms grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use the app. You retain rights in content you enter and permit us to process it only to provide and protect the service. If you send feedback, you allow us to use it without payment or confidentiality obligations.
Availability and changes
We may improve, replace, suspend, or discontinue features; update limits or compatibility; or remove unsafe or unlawful content. We aim to preserve access but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent storage, or that every update will work on every device. Keep your own copies of information you cannot afford to lose.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pup AI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. AKRO-in is not responsible for veterinary decisions, product quality, adverse effects, injury, loss of records, or indirect or consequential loss caused by reliance on information in Pup AI. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia, without removing mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable consumer law may hear disputes. Before filing a claim, please contact support@akro-in.si so we can try to resolve it.
